South Florida Fairgrounds Hotels
Sprawling 130 acres over Central Palm Beach County, the South Florida Fairgrounds is a destination in itself. The annual fair takes place over 17 days, usually during January of each year. Its exhibits, games, Midway and entertainment attract visitors from all over the United States.Perhaps most well-known for its agricultural and livestock exhibits, the South Florida Fair provides a great educational tool for visitors of all ages. Guests will learn all about the area's agriculture and dairy farms, and observe such activities as a calf being born. Although the fair attracts more than 500,000 people annually, the grounds are used for several other activities throughout the year. The 150,000-foot Americraft Expo Center, the Cruzan Amphitheater and Agriplex are all popular sites that are used for a wide variety of events.
Yesteryear Village is another one of the fair's top attractions that is available throughout the year. Here, you'll experience Florida's rich history as a knowledgeable guide escorts you throughout the village. You will also have the opportunity to view buildings and artifacts as far back as the 1850s. A country school house, farm, blacksmith shop and general store are just some of the places you'll see. Yesteryear Village is also available for private rental for special events.
